If so, they aim to barely making the "late" April time. Disappointing.
Thank GOD it is Friday and NOT Saturday! I had to run down the Saturday UPS delivery guy for my WiFi unit as my office is closed! Now I can just sit back an my 3G will be delivered!
Thanks. It's true then. Very disappointing. But at least it is not May or mid-May, or never, etc.
Heck, "Disappointing" would be May 1 or later. It would seem they ARE making that 'late April' timeframe deadline. Despite hopes of an early 'surprise'.
Goes along with what I was told yesterday by macconnections.com when I ordered my 3G iPad. They said they were expecting a big shipment of 3G iPads on 4/30, and that mine would come out of that batch. Also, for anyone wanting to order, they said there are a bunch in that shipment that are not spoken for yet. I live in a state with a very high sales tax, so the savings with buying from macconnections.com are considerable for me, and shipping is free.
I'm happy too. Our building is closed on Saturday and I was prepared to spend my day off waiting outside...or just wait to Monday.
This is a good answer though!

Pre-orders show a 'late April' shipping, which seems to me to be entirely right given they are now saying those orders will be delivered on April 30th.
