On Sierra, has anyone noticed Apple seems to have changed the Arabesque screen saver? It now stutters on my late 2011 maxed out 15" MacBook Pro with discreet video card.
On my 2012 MacBook Air with integrated video it causes glitches that look like static in areas.
It worked great under El Capitan. Definitely looks like there are some new lens blur type effects.
At first I was worried it was a perfmance hit from the new os, but Geekbench shows a 5%-8% boost.
I'm waiting to install Sierra on my 2013 iMac that has a 4gb video card until I'm sure After Effects and Premiere both work with it since I need to use those for my job. I'm sure that can run it.
Just seems odd Apple would update a screensaver to tax the hardware so much.
