Hi!

I am a design student in architecture and I want to get an Ipad Pro to do sketching and work in programs such as Autocad. However, the cost is great so I want to make a wise investment. I do not really want to wait to get started, so chances are I am not going to wait for a new Ipad Pro upgrade. However, if the AR features that is rumored to include a 3D lense camera with the ability to create 3D virtual objects that can be modified with the Apple Pencil, then I would be very curious about that. In regard to this I have these questions:

I am having a hard time grasping what this new AR feature actually could do. Can someone tell me the potential of this feature in design generally and in architecture?
Is it worth waiting for?
How big of a change would this be from the Ipad Pro 2018?

Many thanks for your responses, I appreciate them big time!
