Hi all - new to the forum so sorry if this question is in the wrong place.
My aim is to keep multiple copies of an iOS backup - made using iTunes on Windows 10.
I have found there is no Archive option as there is in iTunes for macOS, and I saw this how-to with this comment from "jack daniels":
This post on the Apple Support Community says a similar thing, but both this and the MacRumors links are from 2016 and I was wondering if it may have changed.
Has anyone tried this recently, or perhaps has a device lying around to test this?
Thanks in advance.

Can anyone confirm that it's as simple as that? Just keep the backup folder somewhere else (or rename it), and when you need it just put the folder back (or rename the folder to the original name) and it will pick it up?iTunes for Windows doesn't contain anything in the UI for archiving iTunes backups, which is why it's not included in this guide. You can manually archive backups on Windows by moving the backup itself to somewhere other than the default directory. Depending on your version of Windows, this varies.

The backups in the default directory will be named the UDID of the device that created them. Simply drag the folder to an external drive or wherever you back up your files, and when it's time to restore, move them back into the default directory and it will be available in iTunes to restore from.
