Anyone know offhand? Sounds like they shipped this morning so I would think they'd be there today or tomorrow.

Answered my own question: stores generally do not have them yet but were told to expect them today (Saturday). Shipments have a window between now and noon or so.

Thanks, I will head to the store around 3pm and see if they have any :)

Update: apparently they didn't come in today. All four stores I called said to check back on Monday.

one of the two Apple stores in Hawaii has them as of 1:19PM Sept. 13

I get there this evening around 7:30PM and one of the workers tells me "sorry, we didn't get any 16GBs in yet.":mad::mad:
The only reason I went there was because I called earlier and they said they were in stock. Damn you, Apple retail store retards!!!!:mad:

To get even I bought the 8GB...and I'll return it when they get the 16GB Nanos. Heehee...now they'll have to sell the old 8GB for less money.

And you have to pay a 15% restocking fee. ??

All of the Best Buys near Seattle has the 8GB and 16GB Nanos, as well as the new Classics. Just not sure on the new Touches. They just got the new iPods today though, so shipments has started.

FYI, the Best Buys in the Milwaukee area showed 16 GB iPods in stock, so I ordered one for in-store pickup. However, when I called to confirm, they said they checked and weren't really in stock. So take the Best Buy information with a grain of salt.

Same story in DC area.

I posted this statement in another thread as well however my apple store told me they should be expecting them the end of this week. So by Saturday the 20th I'm assuming. I ordered mine online...hopefully ill get it by then.

I called and checked here (Location on the left) still nothing. There saying check back toward the end of the week.

I'm surprised Apple didn't add the info to their retail pages since a lot of people are probably calling in to check on these.

Best Buy say's they have them online, but they aren't actually in the store yet.

16GB Nano's To Appear Shortly

Speaking to someone at the 5th Ave Store, the 16GB Nano's should be in the stores prior to Friday the 18th, there is some kind of a shipping - customs hold up outside the US only a handful made it in before the 9-9 announcement

Seattle area stores still haven't gotten any in. So much for that "by this weekend" comment.

Mine is supposed to be delivered tomorrow at the latest, so it should ship today. As of now it is still prepared for shipment.
