Hey guys,

A thank you in advance!

Do you know if the late 2015 27" iMac 5k Retina are PWM free? (flicker free)

I had eye surgery and am sensitive to PWM based screens.

Anyone know?

The Dell U2715K is as far as I know the same panel as the one Apple uses in the 5K iMacs and a Swedish site says it's PWM free and does not flicker. They don't offer any sources for this claim though.

Hey just a quick update.

I called Apple and they connected me to their senior support.

If you boot up the iMac in "Safe Mode" by holding down the shift key. Then proceed to record the screen with a 240 FPS (slow mo) on iPhone 6s you can clearly see the flicker taking place. When it's running in full mode, I'm sure the flicker is a VERY high frequency one but it's still there.

Could you tell me if you can see the flickering in full mode? I mean with your iphone 6s recording video in slo-mo at 240fps.

Thanks.
