I often walk my dog on a busy bike path. I really need to hear rear approaching bike riders. I have a pair of AirPods Max, over the ears, but in hot weather, and walking comfort (weight of the APM) make them not practical.

I'm considering buying AirPods Pro's (I might wait for then next generation) but the sale price of the current ones are hard to resist.

So, can I adjust the current AirPods Pro for "super hearing" like my APM's??? Are they somewhat sweat resistant for hot weather walking?

Many thanks.

The AirPods Pro have the same "transparency" mode as the AirPods Max have. If you hear loud music you won't hear your surrounding on either. But on lower volumes you clearly hear what's going on around you.

Yes the settings will be the same. I use Transparency mode at cafes when ordering and wearing my AirPod Pro's and to be honest, I can her slightly better than if I took them off.
