are apple just playing stupid??

Basically, my old iphone5s has been locked out and there is no way back in, called them about it, and they said they can reset it on their end after going through all possible ways to get back in, but I'd have to send them proof that its mines via a link. l have provided picture of original box with the IMEI no, the phone and last time provided the receipt showing the store, purchase date, IMEI no, price, as attached, but on 5Jan20, they said ' the attachments were blank or illegible. ' the file is a png and is 323.79KB, it should be perfectly egilble. l told them to 'please do the correct thing and allow my iphone 5s to be useable again.' what else can be done?!!

Why don't you take it to an Apple store with the proof of purchase?

If it were too easy to "unlock" your device, I could do it. It's not my phone. This is hard for a reason.
