You are charged minutes. If you have two callers on for 5 minutes you will be charged 10 minutes.
I think that's pretty much the way they (prepaid plans) all work in the US, right?
You might try one of the free conference call services if you're talking to more than a couple of people. Then you just get charged for making the single domestic long distance call (i.e. minutes). Assuming this nonsense with AT&T call blocking got resolved at some point.

Yeah, that's the way Cingular att has handled it, You basically have two calls at once. You can combine them or put one on hold. They are charged against your plan minutes
