iPhone 15 Pro Max Are iPhones in Canada sold unlocked?

Hi,

I'm from Mexico but I'll be visiting Canada on the week of 10/02. I'm planning to replace my current iPhone 13 for the 15 Pro Max.

Are iPhones sold in Canada unlocked? Aside from the Apple Store, Where would you suggest purchasing one? The requirement is that it needs to be unlocked so I can use it in Mexico. I'm also crossing my fingers so that I'm able to find it in stock.

They have all been unlocked since 2017.



Apple Store or Best Buy. Buying through cellphone providers has them trying to sell you a plan with it - so no.

Just be aware that those from Bell are locked until activated, then they are fully unlocked (this is to prevent theft).
