Hello,

i did a fresh install of OS X 10.11. and i had like 7 kernel gnu resets. this was a fresh install of OS X with all programs reinstalled not recovered from tm.

apple support told me to hw check. all good. i did pram and all sorts of resets. today installed 10.11.1.

and then i had another log.

i have to say the machine did not crash, i only realized once a beach ball when writing in office, word 2016.

could that be the issue?

Looks like one of two possibilities EC drivers do not like the video card or it is getting ready to fail. I would go with the former since it passed the hardware test.

EC= El Capitan the operating system you are running and if you bothered to check the logs you would see.

Code:
Event: GPU Reset

Meaning exactly what it says the GPU reset so either the damn thing is dying or more likely since it passed the hardware test the drivers for it are flaky.
