Are macbook air revision C screens dimmer?

It seems like the revision C screens' max brightness is dimmer than prior ones? Am I smoking something? Are they still 300 nits, no matter which actual panel you get?
What about revision B's screens? Are they at least 300 nits? I was comparing the MBA revision C screen to the new macbook plastic screen and it did not seem as bright. It was obvious.

I remember there was one 13" mbp panel that was not 300 nits as well, and it looked not as bright as I'd been accustomed to.

I don't know how to measure the brightness, but it appears pretty bright. Any more, I'd think it would be bad for my eyes.

My Revision C is insanely bright - I generally don't turn it up past about half power, even when plugged in.

mine is just as bright as my first Rev A
