Considering starting to purchase movies in iTunes and curious if anyone has experienced this yet. If you buy a movie in iTunes and Apple later stops offering the movie (movie removed from iTunes, can't buy or rent it) can you still access it in the cloud?

Second question, if you move to another country (e.g. from US to UK) are your purchases still valid assuming you have to create a UK iTunes account (ignoring the fact that some people work out a way to keep a US account)? Does Apple allow you to transfer purchases?

Those are probably the two main concerns I have about the whole DRM thing that I would like to clear up.

Thanks,
Peter

One of the caveats for iTunes Match is "Previous purchases may be unavailable if they are no longer in the iTunes Store". So yes, you could lose access to a previously purchased movie if Apple drops it from their store.

Don't know the answer to your second question.

I moved from the US to the UK, i kept the same apple ID, but changed my billing address from the UK to US and changed the store from the UK to US store. Content bought from the UK store still plays on machines with my apple ID, however if i go to purchases in iTunes, then the ITunes store only sees purchases i bought in the US store, even if both store have the content and I have the same Apple ID.

Its annoying.
