Okay, I've gone into me.com and created an album in the photo app. I've checked the buttons that say "allow posting from email or iPhone". I can see the album in the public gallery. But when I try to send a photo to it from my iPhone in the Photos app, it says "Your MobileMe Gallery has no shared albums. Publish an album using iPhoto '08 and select "Adding of photos via email". I don't have iPhoto because I'm not a Mac user. Is this feature restricted to just Mac users? I sure hope not.

Do you have your iPhone setup to use MobileMe email? It didn't show up until I starting using MobileMe mail on my iPhone.

Yes I do. The option is there in Photos, it's just when I touch it, it connects to .Me but says I have no folders setup to receive the photos. I've setup them up on .me and I can actually see them in Gallery.

I'm having the same issue. I either set up the web gallery from Aperture or from MobileMe and both don't work when I try to upload from my iPhone. Maybe this feature isn't turned on yet or isn't working correctly. MobileMe as a whole hasn't been doing really too well since its inception. Thus, it's no surprise that it's not working yet.

If you go to MobileMe's web interface and select an album, and click the button second from the left of the middle group (liiks like two switches), you see the properties sheet for the album (See attached picture). In there there is an option for "adding of photos via email or iPhone"). Set that and you should be sorted :)
