I need a new screen for my A1707 15" 2016 MBP (flexgate issue).

I haven't managed to find one that wouldn't be too expensive, there are a few in Aliexpress for about 500$.

Are they supposed to be the same quality as the OEM apple, if they're the same resolution and "retina"?

Any source for OEM one that won't be too expensive??

The screens from AliExpress are exatly the same Displays apple Uses. Aliexpress screens come from Macbooks taken apart

I don't think it's worth spending $500-700+ on a 2016 MBP.
What if you replace the display and a little later the keyboard fails?
With the butterfly keyboard, that's a $750 repair.

I'd put the money towards a replacement.
