Are shopping appointments still needed at Apple Stores?

While I understand the necessity back in the era of social distancing, I nonetheless hated it and as you can probably guess, I haven't bought anything from a physical Apple Store in years as a result.

I'm really hoping that shopping appointments went away when restrictions on gathering did...

When I searched for keywords Apple Store Los Angeles, one of the top results was this store:

It shows "drop-in" as Available. Or if you need a specialist, you can book that.

I checked a few other stores and they also showed drop-in Available.

Maybe call the Apple Store you're planning to visit and ask them.
