I noticed they have the 27" already in the refurb section, do you think the ones coming out of there would be safe from the yellow issue?

are the 27" reburbs safe from the yellow?

It really is hard to say simply because not all 27's have the issue, lots of folks on these forums alone (including myself) have 0 yellowing on their displays. Like it gets said in every single one of these threads, go ahead and get it if you want it. The absolute worst case scenario is you get it fixed or replaced. It isn't like this is a major issue with no solution.
