Most people say they are XT, but I think they are PRO, which is like 2x worse than the XT and 4x cheaper. So, does anyone knows for sure?

Windows via Bootcamp says it is an XT. Steve Jobs on the other hand says its a pro. Who would you trust in that situation? Apple is not a company to downplay ANYTHING. Why market an iMac with an inferior product if it actually has a better card? I definitely think not. And I really dont trust Windows that much.

All that really matters though are the benchmarks. You can check out the 2600xt post for more info on that. Or proceed to barefeats.com.

It's the Mobility HD 2600XT. Windows and the Device ID confirm this. If you want you can overclock it to its stock speeds over in Windows.

Really its an XT?, why would Apple downplay this then?. Is the mobility HD2600XT worser than a GeForce Go 8600GT?

There's a big difference between cards other than just the clock speed...
