I have decided to sell my Windows based desktop and get an iMac. I think a 20" would do, but I will look into the feasability of a 24". However, I would really like to wall mount which ever one I get. Put it on an articulating arm that I can pull towards me when I am using it, and then push back to the wall when I need to use my desk for paper work.

Is it possible to do?

Dang, looks like I must make plans to buy the 24" iMac then. I despise Apple for making such appealing products that I must purchase :)

Thanks for the quick reply, I appreciate it.

I looked into this once. You can mount the 24" one using a large range of mounts, but its not possible to mount the 20" one.

I found a third party mount for $79. Claims to fit 17" and 20" iMacs.

Thanks for finding this product. Although, its not what I am looking for. I like the 24" iMac wall mounting better because I can remove the stand for it, kind of pointless to attach the mount to the stand.

I think I will wait to see if the iMac's get updated soon and if they do, pick up a 24" refurb on the cheap.

i cant see why you would want to do that because then all the ports would be in-accessable

If you really want to do it right, you do the same as with a wall-mounted TV - you run cables into all the ports through a hole in the wall, and have them come out lower down the wall at a convenient place. Believe it or not, it's even possible to do this without it looking terrible.
