Then the previous one released cause of the LED or is it about the same because my sister has a mac book pro she bought in May 06 and it really isnt as bright as I would like even though its at full brightness any help would be great thanks. I have a 2.2ghz 15 on order glossy from apple. Im thinking if the Matte is brighter in these new updated versions just to order the 15' 2.4ghz one off Amazon.com where they charge no tax and I would have it by this friday. If anyone can give any information that would be super thanks.

Are the MBPs screens Matte brighter?
