Maybe it's just me, but it sure seems like the Revision B MBPs (2.1/2.33, the latter of which I have) have far fewer problems overall than their predecessors and successors. Still using the regular screens and also much less prone to the overheating problems that seems to plague the As and Cs.

Anyone agree/disagree?

You might be right! Although my SR MBP is perfect! (maybe i'm lucky :p). It's such a great machine, I always enjoy using it.

I think Rev A has the most problems...no matter what computer you have. Rev B is just a bump usually in everything and most problems are fixed. And in this case Rev C was a change in processor, GPU, and Screen. There were tons of problems with both A and C so I would say that Rev B was the best so far.

I don't think B was "just" a bump. It was something closer to a leap, officially leaving the Pentium behind and moving to a new type of processor. It's also 64 bit, which I don't know that the Yonahs were completely.

I would say that the Rev C. Macbook pros are the best. I know 3 people including myself that have no problems.

Ha! Not for me, a USB internal cable was burnt out within 3 months, the motherboard dead 5 months in and I have a uneven backlight.

Very happy with my Rev.B, although it did need the HD replaced. That could easily happy in any series and has nothing to do with design.

my rev D had many problems. its logic board broke, they replaced taht, then my screen was flickering, then they replaced the lcd :( . now its fine. i hope i dont have future probelmsss

My 2.33 C2D is perfect. Many people seem to be referring to this as rev B, however the Guide linked above calls it C. It's the Oct 2006 model. Perhaps we should use the dates rather than "guess" revision letters :)

Well, I wasn't guessing, but that's mostly because I was under the impression it was Revision B, rather than C. A minor bump doesn't seem worthy of being called a different revision.

I corrected my post earlier cause of your find, thank you.
