Are there any 3rd party apps even close to Google call screening on Android?

My wife gets 5 or so “spam likely” calls every single day. Is there any app she can download to prevent so many from coming through? It’s gotten so bad she is ready to switch to Android to use their call screening service.

Why carrier do you have? Each of the major carriers have apps to help stop this.

I was getting as many as 15 robo calls in less than a minute! My telemarketer and robo calls have dropped way down to less than one a day after using ATT's Call Protect app. It is free if you wish or pay $2.99 a month for better caller ID which I dumped as most of the number that call you are spoofed.

TMobile call block works great. I do not get spam calls. On my Verizon line I get 1 or 2 sometimes.

All of us are getting these calls and it is to the point I changed my message on my answering service to explain that if not in my phone book, you got to leave a message. The “Do not Call” List from our government is a joke! I think it was
Hacked!

She’s had 9 spam calls today. I set up the spam call block on T-Mobile after reading this message and haven’t had any yet! It always would say “spam likely” but stopping the spam calls is another option. Weird that it’s not all in 1.

ATT’s call protect could be better, too!

It is free and I will take any help I can get. Our government could stop this if they wanted but I have a feeling the telemarketer’s lobbyists are alive and well.

Same story in India too. We have a DND registry, inspite of which telemarketers call/sms. You register a complaint to the authority( through an app integrated within iOs), the number gets blocked and these fellows buy a new number. Life goes on.

I love my iPhone but that feature seems so wonderful. I hope we eventually get functionality like that.
