Are there any 3rd Party Apps that can allow us to record in 8K30? Even if it means buying the 16Pro for it to work.

Do you have an 8k TV?
Even if I had one I wouldn’t bother with 8k30, to me the smoothness of video is important and I wouldn’t want it less than 60fps. 4k at 60fps to me is better than 8k at 30. But each to their own - I can understand if you have an 8k TV (for some reason) and want to exploit its resolution and actually have some content to play on it !

The iPhone 16 Pro does not support 8K recording. The highest recording resolution/framerate is 4K 120fps.
No app can provide 8K.
If you need 8K/30 video recording, the S24 Ultra and a few other Android phones will provide what your need.
You will need to wait longer for Apple to supply 8K recording.
