i guess you can check apple's iphone tracker after 9 pm tonight but the salesperson in the soho store didn't know when they were getting another shipment.....
 
Is Apple slowing down shipments? I mean, my Apple Store hasn't gotten any iPhone, be it 4 GB or 8 GB, for two days so far. Hopefully they will get some more tomorrow, since it is a Tuesday...:)
But I thought that NYC was getting a whole bunch of iPhones. They are sold out over there? Did you go to the 5th Avenue Store?

And yup, I went to Fifth Avenue and Soho.

that's what i thought but the salespeople i spoke with said they had no idea when the new shipments were coming in. check the iphone tracker after 9pm and maybe we will get lucky tom morning.
 
Try checking the fifth ave store tomorrow, I know some other people who will be returning 8gbs there as well. No clue if it will be immediately put on the shelf, but meh.
 
just checked the iphone tracker - looks like nyc (and a whole lot of other stores) are sold out of iphones w/ no new shipments.

i guess people weren't turned off by the 600 dollar price tag like the experts predicted.
 
I heard Apple is going to be getting daily shipments for the iPhones. Maybe they don't get weekend shipments I'm guessing.

I was in SoHo today and they were out of 8gb. They dont get shipments on weekend days. I heard a salesman say that they were expecting them to get more on Thurs.

Try Staten Island or Jersey.
 
I was at the SoHo store today (Tuesday) and again nothing. I also called the Fifth Avenue store and they were still sold out.
 
just got one at the soho store!!! they just got a shipment in.

i would go now though - they will probably be all sold out in an hour or so (everyone in line was snapping one up)
