Are there any tutorials for graphic converter?

The manual is lacking and I am brand new to using image editors. I am basically trying to make collages but it's going slow. Any ideas? I am trying to figure it out but a tutorial will help me a lot. Thanks

Anyone have an alternative? I just want to cut pictures and paste them as a collage. Graphic converter is not working for me.

if this is just a one time thing.. you can DL the photoshop CS trial on adobe's site. I spend most my day in PS and a lot of time teaching people PS and for the most part they catch on quick. when creating a collage, photoshop's layers are almost essential (method of stacking images on top of each other), and theres LOTS of how-tos out there on photoshop, so try it out... good luck
