Is there an extension cable for the USB-C ? I have a hub with a short cable, I think the hub was intended to be used on a macbook, but I have the 24 M1 imac. I want to be able to connect to the USB C port to the Belkin hub, right now if I want to use it ,it hangs down and that isn't much fun.

I knew at one time there was the USBA male to female connection, but I haven't located any for the new usbc male to usbc female.

Yes, they do exist, but they may or may not work in your situation.

You need to make extremely certain that the cable supports the needed bandwidth. I recommend that unless you need Thunderbolt4 for your hub, that you should look for cables that are certified as USB4 cables. They will cover all the bandwidth needed for all USB 3.x variants along with TB3. Also, get the shortest cable that will do the job.
