Either something's wrong with this iDisk trial, or I'm expecting iDisk to function as well as Dropbox and should learn not to keep my hopes up...

Wrote a document on my iPad, then used the 'Copy to iDisk' feature after setting up my trial account. I can see the document on the me.com view of the iDisk. HOWEVER, the iDisk that's mounted on my Macbook pro isn't downloading the document.

My thinking was that I'd be able to work on my iPad wherever, send documents to iDisk, and pick them up for further work on my Mac. Is this actually supported?

Thanks!

Scratch that, solved, solution was stopping sync in preferences, waiting half an hour, then reactivating it. Rapidly flicking it off and on didn't do much as hinted in other threads.

It's a bug, not well known but it is indeed a bug. It is especially noticeable when you upload to folder or subfolder from iWork on the iPad. It affects uploads to the root folder but they generally show up after one or two syncs.

You either have to wait until the full sync happens (48hrs) because delta syncs don't rebuild the sync manifest, hence why you can't see it unless you go to me.com/iDisk directly.
