Hi, investigating this journey - big gpt user, but upset that I often hit a storage wall, and all the personalization gets destroyed. Any idea what limitations Apple has planned for this? Will this iteration of ApI be persistent over time with its personalization? (i.e will they handle upgrades by not forgetting old versions of the ApI data?).

These questions may not be known - but you’re the smart Mac folks. Please weigh in if you could.

Apple Intelligence is focused on on-device processing. Storage limitations would be device specific, perhaps?

Assumedly, but do we one day just hit a wall if we’re at 64GB or something, and we have to lose all sorts of personal data… or be ‘locked out’? Also, what if you switch a phone? Where does that data sit to transfer? …and if it works across all of iCloud like it says, isn’t it also transmitting that data? I just need it laid out to me… I’m so hopeful, but am prepared to be disappointed.
