Good for what? What is the format/media they will be presented in? What purpose do they serve? It is hard to answer without more context.

Well, the first one will be an icon for an iphone app, the second is for a background on a computer and the third is a website's logo

short answer, no.

they are loud and ugly and have no real design sense to them.

The fender on is the only one with potential, but I suspect you grabbed the polaroid collage from elsewhere and just overlaid it on the ugly fender background underneath.

Free tip, use photoshop filters sparingly. Use of filters should add to the image, not overtake the whole image.

  1. iPhone icon should be much simpler. Scale this down to actual size I am certain "iDict" will be illegible and effects will plug up. Dig deeper for creativity. What does the globe, arrow and "iDict" have in common that distinguishes it from other (dictionary) logos in the same category?

  2. If the black and red image floats your boat, there is no reason you cannot use it for your own background image on your personal display. There is little to make it appealing to others.

  3. The logo appears to be more of generic design than a logo. Good design relies more on concept than effects.

Sorry to be harsh but using filters doesn't equal design. The best advice I can give is start by sketching your ideas first and keep it simple.

The best designs out there are simple. look at Apple, Crabtree and Evelyn, Sony and Bvlgari, there designs are simple and they have substance and purpose.

1) I've been designing iPhone app icons for some of the services I have at work, just out of experience if you can't make out the design at 30X30 pixels then it wont work. Simplify the logo, get rid of the plastic wrap and text and then you'll have a really nice iPhone app icon that will work very well.

2) I've seen this concept before, personally it's very hard to achieve without really good sense of type and contrast with colours. Until someone pointed out the word "fender" I couldn't read it.

3) I really don't get it, it doesn't speak logo.

And again, use the filters sparingly.

+1 for being constructive. Constructive criticism without being rude.
