Sorry to be harsh but using filters doesn't equal design. The best advice I can give is start by sketching your ideas first and keep it simple.
The best designs out there are simple. look at Apple, Crabtree and Evelyn, Sony and Bvlgari, there designs are simple and they have substance and purpose.
1) I've been designing iPhone app icons for some of the services I have at work, just out of experience if you can't make out the design at 30X30 pixels then it wont work. Simplify the logo, get rid of the plastic wrap and text and then you'll have a really nice iPhone app icon that will work very well.
2) I've seen this concept before, personally it's very hard to achieve without really good sense of type and contrast with colours. Until someone pointed out the word "fender" I couldn't read it.
3) I really don't get it, it doesn't speak logo.
And again, use the filters sparingly.
