are these hottrix e-trix for iPhone for real

It is really fun! A while ago I went ahead and bought the program, downloaded it, and have gotten a real kick out of it. For three bucks, hey.... It looks as though your iPhone is filling up with beer, and then you can hold the iPhone at an angle, tilted as though you were taking a swig (or several swigs).... It's really fun!

Once you download it how do you get it onto you phone?
 
They should also offer a video of 3 dollar bills going up in smoke inside your iPhone.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I was person who started this thread and i have no link to hottrix at all. Truth be told while I am fairley good with a computer I am still a little confused when it comes to transfering files around on this phone and I just wanted to make sure it was a real file that could be put into my iphone. Is'nt that what this forum is for. I am not nor have I ever been a spammer. I paid the $3 got the file on my phone and I thinks it was worth it. I showed it to quite a few people who also thought it was pretty cool. Is'nt that what the iphone is suppose to be all about? Having fun with your phone.
 
This is great!

Here we are, a bunch of folks that paid $500 or $600 for a cool new phone yet some of us are taking exception to a creative guy trying to sell a 30 second video for $3. It's called free market. It makes America great. No, I wouldn't pay $3 for the iBeer or iMunchies videos. But I laughed like hell when I watched them on You Tube.

The market will speak. If enough people are willing to pay $600 for a phone, more companies will make cool new phones and try to turn up the heat and raise the price until such time that the market stops buying. No way will the iPhone be the most expensive phone ever. And if enough people pay $3 for a video, then more 30 second comical videos will show up and probably for more money until the market stops buying at that price. Replace the price and the product name above and you've just mastered Economics 101.

I made video games for a living for about a dozen years. In the early 90's, nobody had a clue if we could sell a silly game for $30, 40 or 50. It stopped getting funny when we consistently sold a million (or 6) of each title every year.

...well i'm dissapointed its a video.

now if someone made a small program that used the iphone sensor to determine what your doing, and it pops popcorn when you shake the phone, or really pours beer out when you turn that would be more interesting.


*edit* what about a program that used the iphone camera to determine where your fingers are and you could pet a virtual dog or cat with your fingers. now that would sell like wildfire for $3 a download. you could use the touch pad to throw your dog a frisbie, scratch your cat behind the ears, or feed it by pinching open the bag of food and pouring it out. and maybe for those sadists out there kick the dog when it barks that you have a phone call. man i wish i knew a thing about programming i'd be friggin rich. lol
