Okay, so I just installed XP home on the my machine and I have having two key issues. The first is with audio: in OS X, system sounds play through the iMac speakers even though i have the creature speakers plugged in (this is when the C.S. are off), but with XP, sound comes out of the built-in speakers and the creature speakers. Is there a way to turn off the iMac speakers so sound only comes out of the creature speakers? Music just sounds horrible coming out of two sets of speakers. The other is my keyboard. I believe it might have something to do with USB, but in XP I'll hear the sound indicating a device removal and then something being plugged back in... when that happens my mouse and keyboard will stop functioning till I hear the device found sound, but then after only my mouse works... to get keyboard function back I need to unplug the keyboard and plug it back in. Anyway to fix this? I don't know if this is an XP problem though... this happens in Mac OS X too. Thanks in advance, and i hope this makes sense... writing very late.

I don't have any external speakers so I can't help you with your first question.
The keyboard thing happens to me too. The unplug sound comes on and my keyboard stops working. If I unplug and plug it back in it works again.
A pain in the rear end when playing Armagetron :(

But only in XP. No problems with external devices in OSX

Well at least the keyboard thing does happen... it hasn't happen in Mac since that keyboard update though (at least I think it hasn't). Anyone on that sound problem?
