I say we move all the discussion about flight 139 and everything from AK on to this thread. We deserve our own thread dont we?

Also, can we please figure out where the flight is going from AK?

dgoss: Los Angeles, CA / standard shipping / Nov. 2 estimate
dschwartz88: Pittsburgh, PA / expedited shipping / Nov. 2 estimate
e12a: Irvine, CA / expedited shipping / Nov. 2 estimate
konfabulation: Toronto / standard shipping / Nov. 2 estimate
kstotlani: Jersey City, NJ / standard shipping / Nov. 1 estimate

patrick0brien: San Jose, CA / standard shipping / Nov. 2 estimate
yoshe200: Urbana, IL (close to Chicago) / expedited shipping / Nov. 2 estimate

To those coming in late, Flight 139 was coined in the other thread this came from - it's everyone who shows

LEFT ORIGIN SHANGHAI CN 1:39 PM

on their FedEx tracking information. We're all on the same plane (or our new MBP C2D machines are), at least from Shanghai to Alaska, so it was dubbed Flight 139.

e12a: Irvine, CA / expedited shipping / Nov. 2 estimate

question: does fed ex compensate for the 16 hour time difference? I know the recieved time is not, cause i checked on the 29th (US) and it said it shipped on the 30th (shanghai time).

cause our mbps were all on the same flight (left shanghai at 1:39 = flight 139). Too bad our macbooks know each other, but we dont.

Hehe, i meant now, that they have left AK, do we know where they are going? do we know the flight number? it left at around 2pm AK time, so which flight?

So do you guys on Nov. 2 have faith for an early delivery? I know it's very possible to make AK --> just about anywhere in US in two days but I have a not-so-great history w/FedEx. I can see my tracking putting my MBP in Los Angeles sometime tomorrow (tues) and ready to go out Weds. but just sit.

I hope I'm wrong and it comes a day earlier than listed... post the updates as you get 'em. :)

the IN status scan that everyone seems to be getting seems a little strange. I have that too, but I'm being shipped to CA...why would they ship all the way to IN...then go back to CA?

Are we all really all a part of flight 139 or just in AK at the same time?

Don't loose the faith! You've got the sig! You named the flight! patrick0brien!

sorry...

I have no idea really. I guess we'll call know a little more about FedEx when this is through. I'm not sure we'll create any information to help this go around... but imagine how informed we'll be for the MBP C3D. :)

d.

PS - one thing that makes this frustrating too is it seems that the data on the tracking screen is pretty far from immediate to post

hmm nothing on my status page yet... but if it's in Indiana already there's a high chance I might get it tomorrow :) Urbana's less than 2 hours away from IN!!

Alright, I'm out for the night. I hope I'll see good news tomorrow morning.

It seems like our MBP are in Indianapolis, IN, according to isnoop......

I am still taking it as a grain of salt seeing that FedEx official page does not reflect this information.

That is very interesting. My FedEx widget doesn't show this latest info but your link does:

10/31/06 01:57 am
Status Scan
Indianapolis, IN

8 mins. behind yours.

This info is not on the data from the main FedEx page. Good link! Wonder why this site posts quicker? Nice.
