I'm installing Office 2016 product key on my Windows PC from this website for only $29.99.
I've been told that the best way to do this, is to get hold of an OEM copy from them and that it will work forever.

I've found them on google: https://www.software-keys.net/products/microsoft-office-professional-plus-2016-product-key

I was wondering if anyone knew weather these sorts of sales are for a lifetime or not and if I will be able to get all updates?

Thanks

No idea because t the price makes me skeptical about its legitimacy.

I can't speak to this specific site. Could be legit, could be a scam.

I have bought Microsoft OEM keys on ebay though, for similarly low prices. Usually they come with an hard drive or memory stick or something because legally OEM keys can only be sold with computer hardware.

Yes the key is good forever, but it won't give you upgrades to newer versions. So when Office 2020 or whatever comes out, this key won't work for it.

Also, often the key has already been activated on another computer. You have to understand they get these keys from broken computers that are being recycled. So there is a small but real chance Microsoft won't let you activate the key right away, and you will have to phone in and go through some menu tree to say that you are activating on a new computer / moving the key to a new computer.

i don’t know about that particular site, but i have purchased license keys for microsoft products online. $15 for a Windows 7 Home license, $20 for an MS Office 2016 license. legitimately.
