Just wondering if I'm not the only one,are you an iPhoneoholic/iPodoholic? if so why do you think you are and how many do you have?

for me: I mostly buy them because I just want to buy new apple products and I can't afford to do so with macs lol and even if i could they don't have much macs in their line up (which is good).

my iPhone/iPods:

so you spend $500 beans on a yearly IPhone replacement (that's assuming that your 2 year contract doesn't qualify you for subsidized replacement)?

No I got my self a factory unlocked iPhone from Australia (3Gs) it's my 1st iPhone which costed about $970

Some people do but they sell their old iPhones to pay for the new ones, so that they end up paying the price of a subsidized iPhone.

That is exactly what I do, sell them on eBay each year and get the equivalent of a full subsidy or even better... I really don't understand why more people don't do that, unless they just don't want to extend the contract out another two years. On the other hand, if you want the new phone that's what it's going to require so where's the downside? They hold their value well enough to make it a great option, heck you could almost buy it contract free at the subsidized price... might be a bit higher but no extension, sounds like a win to me

wow

nice but can't help thinking you could sell most of those and make good down payment on a Mac Pro! ;) cool though I sell my previous model to get the new! so I guess no IA meetings for me yet!

So, you'll go out and drop $400-$970 on an iPod or iPhone which finds its way to your drawer when the new model comes out? Yep, I'd say that's more than a little irrational.

I have:

16GB iPhone
8GB iPhone
16GB iPod touch
16GB iPhone 3G (white)
120GB iPod Classic
8GB iPod nano (short 'n' fat)

That's it for handhelds.

Then I have:

Quad-Core Mac Pro with a 20" Apple Cinema Display
Magic Mouse (I don't like it)
Mighty Mouse
Aluminum Keyboard (wired)
MacBook Pro 13"
Airport Extreme Base Station
40GB Apple TV (hacked with version 2.4)

That's all I have for Apple gear.

"am I a iPhoneoholic/iPodoholic?"

let me check my phone........
aaahhhhh..... my phone says yup!! i'm both!!

:D

Is there an app for that?

Anyway, I put aside my iPhone when it's time for family gatherings and pick up calls if necessary. Messages are replied to after the gatherings.

I only have an iPhone 3GS 16GB, iPod touch 1Gen and the really old tall iPod shuffle.

I treat my iPhone like an infant. Never dropped. I dont sit it down hard or let people touch it. It's in a case. I change the screen cover every other month. Totally the best device I have ever owned. I can conduct anything I need a PC for on this phone. I moved $20k from one place to another on it. I love it.

Yes, yes I am. Ive owned about 8 of them. I keep buying and selling them. I've finally got my wife and I on new iPhones with a family plan on AT&T. Life is good! I love my :apple:

Since 2004, I've had 2 minis (pink and apple green), 2 1st-gen nanos (2 because the first died under warranty), a 30 GB iPod Photo, a 30 GB (I think) iPod Video, a 60 GB Classic, a 4th-gen 16 GB nano, a 2nd-gen 16 GB Touch, a 5th-gen 16 GB nano, and a 32 GB iPhone.

I sold the Touch on ebay just after I got my iPhone, and sold the Video and Classic just before that. Still use the 4th-gen nano in the car. Gave my mom the 5th-gen nano so she, in turn, could give her 3rd-gen to a friend who's going through chemo so she could have entertainment while stuck in the hospital. My brother has the 1st-gen nano, and the Photo is on my iHome clock radio at present. The only one that isn't still being used is the pink mini, and only because I cracked the LCD screen on it. It still works, though.

So....yes. :)
