But I don't get the message that says it's unavailable in my store. I start the download, and it shows up in my purchases tab, but there's an error. It's not wishful thinking, it's probably what's happening.

Finally, getting to the download page in the App Store, but when attempting to download, it says the item is temporarily unavailable. I'm guessing it's propagating out to the servers now.

I am downloading 10.10 right now, but going to install it on a USB drive instead so that way I can test things like battery life and bugs before deciding to make it a main partition on my 2012 Retina Macbook Pro which is on Mavericks right now.
