Please only respond if you have or plan on getting APP2.

People not interested in them need not apply.

I am not a big fan of AppleCare+ and tend to not buy it, but I bought it for all the AirPods I owned, as they are way more at risk of an accidental damage than my MacBook or my Apple TV.

I am having a pair of APP which were recently replaced by Apple as a part of their recall. I never bought AC+ when I bought APP1. And I don't plan to get AC+ for APP2 I am gonna buy in a couple of months (waiting for Apple to 'treat' the 'childhood diseases' APP2 is suffering now). Accidental damages I will ask my home insurance to cover.

What are you talking about with app2 and diseases? Come again? Maybe I missed the latest “gate”

Yes, I had to get three replacements for rattlegate, 2 in the second year on my original pair so it’s 100% worth it to imo

I would get it if it covered theft and loss (like iPhones), which is the biggest risk by far (especially loss). Not much point if it doesn't cover loss, IMO.

You don't need to have AppleCare to have the APPs replaced under the rattlegate service program. AppleCare is 100% unnecessary for that particular issue.

I am not sure. I have six days left to decide. It’s only $29, so I might. It will be the first time I have ever gotten AppleCare+ on any of my Apple products.
