Who's keeping the 25gb, or downgrading?

As it does not effect itunes match, just email, backups and documents, I personally think 10gb is enough and at £14/year I think it's a great piece of mind for my idevices

Anyone elses thoughts?
 
I'll let it go down, I only use it for mail and some light documents. Too many competitors offer free storage like dropbox.
 
I'm also let it go down. 25GB is not enough to fully backup my multiple devices anyway. Back to NAS storage, iTunes Wifi sync etc.

Update: adding a poll would be nice

Sitting at 2.6gb of usage. Never come close to using 5gb.

Will let it drop.
 
Another to give it up. Only using about 2.2GB with backups moved to local machine.

No surprise, but Apple's pricing is way off with this and they need to think about bringing cloud based services together. I'd be happy to pay for a decent service that provided mail/cal/contact sync with an additional storage facility to use with photo/music/docs, but looking to charge for each separately with restrictions just doesn't work for me.
 
Who knows for sure what it is going down to? Since iCloud rolled out, I was given the extra storage for free, as I was a MobileMe member. So, this morning I had 25GB of iCloud storage. Now tonight, I have 15GB of storage. The website says iCloud comes with 5GB free, which is what most of you have indicated. I can't figure out why I still have 15GB.

Does it have to do with the fact that I have iTunes Match? I don't think so, as I know iTunes Match doesn't have any bearing on iCloud...

My complimentary upgrade has ended with iCloud, I ask you all if you are in my boat and are going to continue paying for it or are switching to the 5gb free.
 
I was going to but decided against it. My iPhone is only 1.3GB's to backup and I don't use my iPod touch anymore. The iPad I'll just sync to my rMBP. I think $40 for 20GB per year is just too expensive. I can afford it but I think Apple should give you 5GB's per device you own. I think that would be fair.
 
No. Leaves a bad taste too. Major downgrade at a time when Dropbox et all are giving lots of Gbs for free.

I would actually pay for it, if i could use it like dropbox, or google drive and save anything I want to it.

Mine is telling me I'm on the 5GB free plan but it's still showing I've got 25GB of storage.

I guess the servers will need a few days to catch up.
 
Only use mine for a few pages and numbers docs so I for one won't be upping to the paid subscription. I am too used to the flexibility of gdrive for sharing stuff now.
 
I have my ipad 3 iphone 5 and iphone 5s all backed up to i cloud and i only i only use 1gb so no i win't pay for icloud!
 
No. I do pay for iTunes Match. Apple should change their model one more time and give a larger iCloud storage proportional to the device size. Bundling all their services in a single subscription model. Free iCloud, included when you buy the device, big enough to allow you to make a backup at least the same size of the device and larger if you subscribe to the $25 annual service.

Not happening.

I don't own a 64gb iPhone, but I'm pretty sure most people who do have a 64gb iPhone fill it with apps, movies, and music.

With iTunes Match being separate you won't need that full 64gb backup.

With iTunes Movies in the Cloud you won't need that full 64gb backup.

With apps, iCloud only stores saved data - not the actual apps themselves. So you won't need that full 64gb.

Who on this thread has filled their iCloud backup with anything other than photos?
 
My iPad is using 1.2GB of iCloud, my iPhone 585MB, totalling 1.8GB of there abouts.
Documents and Data equates to 7.8MB

I suppose when I get a new device and have Pages Numbers and Keynote for free then I'll use it a bit more, but I still think 5GB will be enough for quite a while.

My Storage total still says 25GB, current plan reports 5GB - Im sure they will correct it.
 
Just got mail from :apple: that I got downgraded; plan shows 5GB; storage itself still 25G. I guess it will take them some time to reduce the quotas.
