Just interested in seeing what the ratio of possible buyers to non-buyers is. Still note sure about whether or not to get one. Leaning more towards the YES side though. What can I say Apple just makes great products.

I will be buying one.
As a sales rep, I'll be using it to show pictures of used product, take notes while I'm with customers, keep track of my appointments, and just plain have fun.

No, if it had a built in cam then it would have been a big possibility.
I have an iphone and a macbook so no real use for this (which is a shame as I just buy apple gadgets anyway but will be skipping this one).
Hopefully the second gen will be great (and have a cam so you can videochat) and by that time it will be a great success and grow just the way the ipod touch did.

I'm not sure yet, I'm waiting to see the reaction from print publishers before I buy one. If news papers invest in this market I'll get one right away.
Yes and I can't wait! For two years I've been saying "I wish my iPhone screen was bigger.." and now I can get one.
My iPhone does 99% of what I need for my daily computer and media needs. I love the touch features, the ease of web-browsing.... I just wanted a bigger screen.
I have a notebook, hate to use it due to the touch pad and lack of mouse. I could hook up a mouse but why? I prefer to surf the web with my Iphone to the hassles of browsing with the notebook. The iPad was what I wanted for years.
No one said it was going to be a full blown computer. Mac also sells computers, you want a computer then buy one of those. Not everything needs a camera, the need of flash, multitasking. I understand that they would be useful but for many, many of us for the price point and what we will use it for, it's perfect. For the rest who are unhappy I think they need to stay with their laptops.
