When using the uploaded wallpaper or any wallpaper I guess without shading or detail. You'll see dirty horizontal lines across the screen from top to bottom. They get even more noticeable when you slowly drag to the left to the widgets screen. Tested on an iPad. You can hardly see them on the home screen but they are there as well.

I'm guessing it's some sort of dark filter that's applied to all wallpapers. It did not do this with iOS 9.

Well not a screenshot, but an actual photo. Screenshot won't show issues with the display. Sounds like its a display problem.

It could be an iOS 10 problem since he said it doesn't happen in iOS 9. So most likely it will show up in a screenshot.

Ill post a screenshot when I get home. It's not a display issue. I believe it's a gradient banding issue. It's just easier to see it in motion.

I have seen many Mac and iOS device displays with this issue with blue colors. It's a quality control problem.

You're not getting it.

This issue started on iOS 10 which means it's most likely a software issue, rather than a display issue.

I can imagine it's more difficult to see on the smaller screen. And even I can hardly see it when just looking at the lock screen. But it's there when you are moving over to the widget screen. As the gradient tint they apply will gradually change, the banding will move around the screen making it more noticeably.

iOS has had banding issues since version 7 because all the blur that's being applied. It's just now with iOS 10 it's right there at the lock screen. Biggest issue before was passcode screen and ios9 spotlight suggestions screen (the first something I hardly ever see and the second fixed with iOS 10 as the widget screen isn't blurred).

You can fix it by adding a little noise to the picture.

Tried this wallpaper but see nothing.
iPhone 6s Plus, iOS 10 beta 3. Developer beta.
Maybe this is an issue for iPad? But some members do confirm iOS 10 darkens wallpaper quite a bit.
