Wouldn't you like to know?
I'm most likely going to carry my iPod with me, especially on long road trips, just incase the battery on my iPhone dies (highly improbable due to the battery numbers) but i would do this just out of security so that i can still listen to music if my iPhone dies.

I'll probably keep mine as a separate workout iPod (I listen to music during my workouts, but I'll be damned if I want to text or receive calls in the gym). If I find I'm not using it enough, I might gift it to a friend or relative.

I'll be using my shuffle for workouts and maybe for long flights (to keep my iPhone battery fresh for when I arrive). But that's about it. The shuffle's so small anyway, it's not a big deal to bring it along.

But I doubt I'll use my mini much any more.

With my new iPhone, I doubt I'll use my iPod anymore and I'll probably end up selling it.

Am i the only one here that has a valid reason for actually getting an iphone seeing as i have no mp3 player and a crappy cellphone you mean you guys already have nice of both and just getting the iphone because it looks awsome?

if im working out with the iphone im gonna turn it on to airplane mode no more signals going out :-D problem solved

I will still carry it ... to work and long trips. If I am taking a flight, I will bring the iPod. Since if the batteries go dead, its no problem. I will need to phone when I land. I will also still bring it to work, since its always in my laptop bag.

like your any more justified to get one...no one is. its a toy, every one is the same spoiled mac fanboy (probably myself included)

ps: selling a brand new refurb i just got back from a replacement from apple. its a black 8gig, and i got cables and the original box and such. pm if interested...:apple:

Why wouldn't you just listen to the iPod if you're bringing it with you...then your phone battery won't die first....and you can still listen to music.

i usually carry my 60gb 5g ipod video with me to and from work to use on the train, but i think i'll only carry my iphone once i get one and semi-retire the 5g. i'll probably get an extra charging dock for work, so i can recharge it after my commute it and make sure the battery is full for my commute home.

i'm not sure what i'll do with my 5g - it may sit permanently on my ipod hifi so i don't have to hunt down an ipod to listen to music in the bedroom...

My iPod is 80 gigs, so I will take it when I travel but I will not carry it around.

I really wish I could synch from my iPod directly to my iPhone that would be the best for traveling and I could leave my laptop behind.

Yeah, i see the iPhone as a convenience, but the addition of an iPod for longer trips is nice, too!
