i have been using @mac.com email address since the beginning. Is there any reason to switch to @me.com for my emails?
Everyone who knows me still uses the @mac.com address. Will apple be eventually closing the mac.com addresses?

I know that both are active and i can send and receive from both but it does become a little confusing sometimes.

I'd like to choose one and eliminate the other (if thats even possible)

I've had .mac since apple introduced iTools, way back when. I'm using .mac and if I'm forced to drop .mac for .me, I'll stop renewing mobile me.

The service is ok, but inertia has kept me from changing over to a less expensive option.

I doubt that they will stop supporting the older names - it's not as if it's that much work - it's pretty much just another alias as far as I can tell.

Yes i still use the .mac version as well. I doubt Apple will ever give up that domain in this lifetime :)
