Hello,
Yesterday,I've made the security update of High Sierra 10.13.6 with my EFI Radeon 4870, then reinstalled my two Nvidia GTX 1070 and the correct webdrivers.
After the reboot, my Areca Raid card 1880iX-12 in slot 2, had some serious problems.
The temperature sensor has gone crazy, like minus xx degrees and some warnings of over volting +2/3V, with the speaker alert.
The card was working perfectly before in all slots, (even with the PCiE riser I've used to connect the EFI GPU , to avoid switching the 1st GTX1070). No pins are damaged. I don't understand at all.
I've tried to reboot with a backup, or disconnecting disks ... changed the slot position's, same results, over volting and weird temperatures.
Is my Areca card dying, or is it a firmware problem?
Thanks
Guillaume
