Areca 1882ix-24 alternative

Does anyone know if there is any alternative to this card under OSX? I am having trouble with Plextor SSDs and not looking to replace the SSDs.

How many drives do you need to connect? The obvious but more expensive choice is atto - they have always been rock solid in macs. I don't think any of the LSI cards work for OSX.

I need 16 at least, I don't think any ATTO card supports that.

Atto R60F 16 port 6Gb SAS/SATA RAID Card.

The Driver even supports being in a Thunderbolt connected chassis moving forward.

The Areca supports 24 drives on SFF-8087 internal connectors, and has the single SF-8088.

The Atto just has 4 x SFF-8087 so will support the 16 you state you need.

Need more then that then would need to look at a SAS Expander with an Atto card.
