Resolved arf - my folder icons have disappeared

This is on my original account on upgraded from Mavericks to Yosemite.

Created a new user and the folder icons are fine. So something old I have must be conflicting with Yosemite. Anyone else run into this / have any ideas how to fix this?

Had you done custom icons. That's the only thing I can think of that might have borked them.

nope - all stock icons. I can manually add a folder icon back but I don't wanna do that for all the missing icons.
