Argg annoying pop up

My mini has starting constantly doing the pop up where it gives me the option to:
shutdown/restart/ cancel

Do I have a virus on it?
It's starting to behave quite oddly!

Sounds like it may be something as simple as the connection in the power button. If it's still under warranty, take it in to Apple. If it's not, and you feel brave, delve into it to see what's what.
