Armed policemen at ATT retail store in Coralville, IA

Surprised to see 2 armed policemen chatting and then one being stationed inside on a chair at the back of the store.

Security must be crazy at some of the larger stores.
 
There was one armed policeman at a local AT&T Store at 7:30 this evening.

were you at the oak lawn store? i was just there and there was a cop inside there too. i thought about asking if they were there because of the iPhone...but i didn't
 
There was one at the Davenport ATT store he was outside so I'm not sure if it was pertaining to the store itself, but now it looks like.

Nope, I was at the AT&T Store off Beltline Road near the Irving Mall in Irving and saw the armed policeman there, and he was talking on his cell phone as well.

When I was in the AT&T store last saturday, and there was a cop who was talking to manager about the iPhone. I wonder if they were talking about security.
 
Matthew, what time are you going to CoralRidge tomorrow? I'm going out there around 5:30. A friend of mine is picking me up an iPhone tomorrow in the Mall of America, so I'll just be talking with people and checking out the iPhone before I get mine.

Unsure! I work at the University and have a very flexible schedule. My roommate will check things out in the morning and let me know if I need to come out or not. Otherwise I'm thinking 2ish.

I'll be the 6'2", white, lanky computer dork waiting around :)
