A) Does anyone know where to get them from in the UK without silly shipping costs

Or

B) would someone in the states be prepared to be the middleman if we got a few people wanting them and then ship them to the UK??

I'm looking to get one. Got a skinomi one on at the mo it's not great the film has a texture to it which catches the light the armour suit looks a lot flater. Be up for chipping in if you get enough people to make it worth someone's while.

No but it's the only similar version I can find currently in the UK. They have been delivered to me today (you get 3 in a pack)

Will install tonight and feedback later!

Installed. So far so good. The screen looks a little hazy at the moment though - assume when it cures it will disappear?

Easy install, took about 2/3 minutes of holding at each side to ensure it had stuck to the screen.

Based on those pictures it's nothing like the Armorsuit screen protector. That one covers the whole display area. The one you got looks like it doesn't and is just like the other bog standard :apple:Watch screen protectors. You can see where the edge of the screen protector and the rest of the display area meet.

It's a wet install and goes right to the edges.

I'll get a better picture:

----------

It pretty much touches the metal - not sure if you can see in the above picture.

I was using tempered glass previously which only covered the display area and not the bezels. This one covers the whole face right up to the metal.

It's decent, 3 of them for 4.99 so when one gets grubby I'll reinstall the next one.

Yes in that picture it looks as if it covers the whole display. I'm still unsure about the clarity though. I bought some TechArmor ones before the :apple:Watch was released and haven't even bothered putting one on as they don't cover the whole display area. Yours seem to be a lot better in that respect. Currently I'm just using my watch without a screen protector.

Yea it seems to be curing now so hopefully by tomorrow it will be fully adhered and clear - I will keep updating.

Another bonus is I'm not getting any orange peel effect.

Did your hazy-ness clear up in the end after being left overnight? A friend of mine was in the US and bought a pack of proper ArmorSuit ones. Watch is sitting at PFD just now.

Just wondering, how long did you leave it between initial fitting and starting to use your watch?

I plan to install mine as soon as I take the watch out of the box to protect it immediately, but was wondering if I can start using it and setting it up after 2-3 hours or if I have to leave it the full 12-24 hours to avoid messing it up as it cures?

The reviews of the ArmorSuit protectors I have read have recommended leaving the watch on its charger at least overnight while the protector cures. I think I will use a hair dryer on mine to speed the process up a little; it has always worked well on my iPhones.

If that's the case I'll probably install it before I go to bed. Plan is as follows...

- Get home from work
- Setup watch
- Call Apple & purchase AppleCare+ (forgot to do it when ordering the watch)
- Play with watch for the night
- Install screen protector & go to bed

To be honest, I probably wont even play with it much, may even just install the protector after it's setup and I've bought AppleCare+ for it, then leave it.

I usually get up at about 6am, so if I get it all done by 6-7pm it will be 11-12 hours by the time I get up. The idea of using heat doesn't appeal to me. Even if it is set on low.

Yep cured and much clearer now. It's a great protector for the price.

I installed it and it was usable within 20 or so minutes but I'd recommend like said above, leaving it over night on the charger to cure properly. I'm using it today with no problems.

I installed the eBay special, and it looks great. I'll post a picture once it has cured.

The hairdryer helped a lot with the installation.

The only concern that I have is that the edges will almost certainly lift, since they're not flush with anything. With the iPhone the plastic lip around the screen at least offers screen protectors some protection.

Same one I received?

So far so good with mine, although I haven't been wearing any long sleeved tops yet....which I imagine would peel up the corners a treat.
