Arrows to browse while typing?

For example. If I want to quote someones post on this forum but it's a long quote, how do I get down to the bottom or end of it quickly? Hitting the return button moves their original post

Doesn't work. It takes you to the bottom of the window but if what they have typed goes further down than that, I see no way to get the cursor further down
