I've a problem. My library has all the album artwork fine, but unfortunately I copied a selection of my music to my iPod before running the "Get album artwork" program. Is there a way of getting artwork for just the songs on the ipod, not the library?

Saying that, I do have a playlist of the selection of songs I copied to my ipod, and they have album art (as they're in the library). So, if I sync the ipod with that playlist, will itunes delete the songs from the ipod that aren't in that playlist? That would be far from ideal!

Anybody have any ideas?

iTunes' default behavior is to automatically make your iPod contents a carbon-copy of your iTunes library, art, metadata, and all. Syncing is not meant to be a one-time thing, if that is what you are thinking. It's meant to be done often (I sync mine at least once a day, just to change out podcast episodes for new ones, swap Calendar changes with iCal, etc). Just re-sync your iPod. Any updates will be pushed over. Just specify what songs you want copied in, and what you don't want copied in. iTunes does not move files to your iPod, it duplicates them. The master collection remains on your computer, always.

Did that answer your question?
