As my 2017 iMac doesn't have VESA I now had to cut of its stand

Unfortunately the iMac I bought here in the philippines in 2017 was without VESA.
I didn't know that with newer models you have to order that extra - so when I now bought me a vesa monitor arm I had to cut of the stand now as it was in the way.
I still have to find a way to fix the hinge on the iMac as this can't be fixed in place.
So the local hatdware store will be my friend in a few days again...
